Associate Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Role: Associate AI/ML Engineer Location: Ahmedabad Experience: 1 - 2 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: 5 Days (WFO) Role Overview We are looking for an Associate AI/ML Engineer with 1 - 2 years of experience who is passionate about building AI-powered applications and solving real-world business challenges. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, exposure to backend and frontend development, and hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM APIs, and AI application workflows. This role involves working closely with AI/ML Engineers , product teams, and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions including AI tools, dashboards, micro-apps, and internal automation systems. Key Responsibilities Develop AI-native applications across backend and frontend layers with guidance from senior engineers. Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. Integrate LLM APIs including Open AI, Claude, and Hugging Face into real-world applications. Develop AI-powered dashboards, internal tools, and automation solutions. Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve AI output quality and reliability. Support development of RAG-based workflows using embeddings, vector databases, and external data sources. Build responsive frontend components using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. Work on rapid prototyping and experimentation to validate AI-driven ideas quickly. Debug AI pipelines, backend workflows, and data processing tasks. Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, Supabase , and similar technologies. Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to convert requirements into scalable AI solutions. Stay updated with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and industry best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications 1 - 2 years of experience in AI/ML Engineering, Software Development, Backend Development, or related roles. Strong fundamentals in Python programming. Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar backend frameworks. Experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations. Basic frontend development knowledge with React.js, Next.js, or similar frameworks. Practical experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Hugging Face. Understanding of Generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and AI workflows. Knowledge of RAG architecture, embeddings, and vector search concepts. Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone, FAISS, Supabase Vector, or similar. Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL or Supabase. Knowledge of data handling libraries like Pandas and NumPy. Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities. Ability to build and deliver end-to-end solutions with guidance. Good to Have Skills Experience with AI frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex. Exposure to AI applications such as chatbots, copilots, and AI assistants. Experience building dashboards or internal business tools. Familiarity with AI prototyping tools like Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Bolt, or Lovable. Knowledge of web scraping techniques. Basic understanding of system design concepts. Experience deploying applications using platforms like Vercel, Railway, or Render. Understanding of authentication and application security basics. Soft Skills Strong ownership mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes. Ability to work across AI, backend, frontend, and business requirements. Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Quick learner with curiosity to explore new AI technologies. Collaborative approach and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
