About the role
As a Product Support Tech Advisor Specialist, your main role is to provide technical assistance to computer system users. You will be responsible for addressing client inquiries and resolving computer issues in person, over the phone, or remotely. Key Responsibilities: - Audit records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken, or installation activities. - Update technical manuals and perform computer diagnostics to investigate problems. - Develop training materials, procedures, or conduct user training on hardware or software usage. - Collaborate with staff, users, and management to define requirements for new systems or modifications. Qualifications Required: - Associate's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training. - Verbal and written communication skills. - Problem-solving skills. - Customer service and interpersonal skills. - Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Proficiency in mentoring to provide support and constructive feedback. - Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software. - Familiarity with computer software including configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software.
