As a QA Test Analyst, your role involves developing and executing software test plans to identify software problems and their causes. Initially, you will run scripts provided to you, and as you progress, you will be responsible for script development. Key Responsibilities: - Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. - Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. - Develop testing programs that address database impacts, software scenarios, or usability. - Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report them to software developers. - Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. - Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. - Create or maintain databases of known test defects. - Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Qualifications Required: - Verbal and written communication skills. - Problem-solving skills. - Customer service and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Basic mentoring skills to provide support and constructive feedback. - Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software. - Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles for technical plans. - Understanding of engineering science and technology. - Proficiency in computer development software like Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, and JavaScript. In terms of education and experience, a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a relevant field is required for this role.
