Application Tester (Hyderabad)

Key Responsibilities: - Execute test cases (manual and automated) to ensure software quality. - Write, update, and maintain test documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test reports. - Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL queries. - Report, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and test scenarios. - Participate in regression testing, UAT support, and deployment validation. - Maintain test environments and support testing activities across various stages of SDLC. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing. - Familiarity with software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work in a team-oriented team environment. Good to Have: - Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman). - Basic knowledge of APIs and web services testing. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes. .
