Manual QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer (Manual) at ProArch, your role will involve conducting thorough manual testing on software applications to identify any bugs or issues. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand project requirements and timelines. Your responsibilities will include creating and executing test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage, identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues, and performing regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end processes, continuously update testing procedures and documentation, and actively participate in all SCRUM ceremonies. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough manual testing on software applications - Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and timelines - Create and execute test plans and test cases - Identify, document, and track defects and issues - Perform regression testing - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement - Update testing procedures and documentation - Perform Web Services testing using SoapUI, verify API results using Postman, and have knowledge of Web Service Studio - Actively participate in all SCRUM ceremonies Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Manual QA or similar role with 5 - 8 years of experience - Hands-on experience with automation tools - Testing experience with browser-stack for evaluating different mobile versions/screen sizes - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices - Extensive knowledge of bug-tracking tools and test case management tools - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines - Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment At ProArch, the company believes in empowering its employees to grow, thrive, and make a meaningful impact.
