Aboutthe Role As a .NET Full StackDeveloper at Propel, you will take ownership of designing, building, andmaintaining production-grade applications using .NET, Python, cloud platforms,and modern web technologies. You will work independently on complex modules,contribute to architecture discussions, and mentor junior engineers whiledelivering scalable and high-quality solutions. This role is ideal forengineers who have strong hands-on experience and are ready to take increasedresponsibility in solution design and execution. KeyResponsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and full-stack applicationsusing .NET, Python, and modern frameworks. Take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules, from requirementunderstanding to production deployment. Apply OOP, SOLID principles, and clean architecture practices to buildmaintainable and extensible systems. Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services with performanceand security best practices. Work with Data Structures and Algorithms to solve complex business andtechnical problems efficiently. Build and optimize data processing pipelines and background services. Actively contribute to cloud-based application development using MicrosoftAzure services. Implement containerized applications and manage deployment workflows usingDocker. Develop and integrate frontend components using Angular or Next.js whenrequired. Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and guide juniorengineers. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implementlong-term fixes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, QA, andDevOps. WhatWe\re Looking For Bachelor\degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field(or equivalent industry experience). 3 to 5 years of strong hands-on development experience in backend orfull-stack roles. Strong proficiency in either Python or C# (.NET) with real-world projectexperience. Solid understanding of: o Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) o SOLID design principles o Operating System fundamentals o Multithreading, memory management, and networking basics Practical experience working with Data Structures and Algorithms inreal-world problem solving. Hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs and backend services. Strong experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript,and modern frontend frameworks. Good working knowledge of SQL or relational databases. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) withhands-on Azure experience. Experience working with containerization tools such as Docker. Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows. Strong problem-solving ability and ownership mindset. Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. Preferred Azure certifications or strong real-world Azure deployment experience. Experience building scalable microservices-based systems. Exposure to Python-based data processing workflows. Understanding of AI/ML concepts and data-driven systems. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with system design and performance optimization techniques.
