Data Base Developer

As a Database Developer at ProvenTech, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing high-performance database systems. Your role will involve transforming UI/UX designs into efficient database structures and ensuring seamless data operations across applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design normalized and scalable database schemas based on UI/UX wireframes - Define relationships, constraints, and indexing strategies to ensure high data integrity and consistency - Collaborate with backend developers on APIs and data access patterns - Suggest optimized queries, stored procedures, and ORM usage - Identify and resolve slow queries and bottlenecks for performance optimization - Resolve query delays, deadlocks, and locking issues for effective troubleshooting - Maintain documentation for database designs and ensure security, compliance, and coding standards are followed Qualifications Required: - Strong SQL knowledge including Joins, CTEs, and Window Functions - Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle - Knowledge of indexing, partitioning, and execution plans; familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus - Backend development skills in Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python; understanding of ORM tools and API design - Expertise in query optimization, tuning, and handling large-scale transactional systems About ProvenTech: ProvenTech specializes in delivering innovative and scalable technology solutions.
