About the role
Product Design: Use CATIA and UGNX to create detailed 3D models of products, components, and assemblies, ensuring they meet design specifications and requirements Parametric Modeling: Utilize the parametric modeling capabilities of both software to establish relationships between model features, allowing for easy design modifications Part and Assembly Design: Create intricate part models and assemble them into larger product assemblies while ensuring that all components fit together correctly Surface Modeling: Develop complex surface models, which are crucial for designing aerodynamic or aesthetically significant components, such as automotive bodies 2D Drafting and Detailing: Generate engineering drawings, including dimensioning, annotations, and tolerances, from 3D models to support manufacturing and assembly processes Analysis and Simulation: Perform simulations and engineering analysis using CATIA and UGNX to evaluate product performance, structural integrity, and other design considerations Design Optimization: Identify opportunities for design improvement, cost reduction, and performance optimization .
