About the role
Role Overview: At PwC, as a Data Analyst focusing on digital integration and advisory services, your primary responsibility will be to leverage advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. You will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Your work will involve automating data collection, analysis, visualization, and other tasks related to data processing using automation tools or software to streamline data-related processes within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze data from multiple source systems to understand business requirements, data structures, and integration needs. - Design and document data models to support migration, ingestion, and transformation of data into Databricks. - Perform source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of migrated data. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable data models. Qualifications Required: - Proven ability to analyze data from multiple source systems and understand business requirements. - Hands-on experience designing and documenting data models for migration and transformation. - Strong expertise in source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and validation. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models. - Preferred: Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and Medallion architecture. - Preferred: Familiarity with data profiling and quality tools such as Great Expectations, Informatica DQ, or Collibra. - Preferred: Exposure to data modeling tools and metadata/lineage platforms. - Required: Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
