As a Power BI Senior Associate at PwC, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced Power BI dashboards, writing complex DAX/SQL, and modeling data to drive business insights. Your role will involve bridging technical teams and stakeholders, mentoring juniors, optimizing report performance, and ensuring data security. Responsibilities: - Visualization & Development: Create interactive, user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards, incorporating advanced DAX, Power Query (M language), and UI/UX best practices. - Data Modeling & ETL: Connect to diverse data sources, clean, transform, and shape data using SQL and Power Query. - Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize slow-performing reports, datasets, and complex SQL queries. - Power BI Service Management: Configure on-premise gateways, manage scheduled refreshes, and handle workspace security (Row Level Security - RLS). - Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements from business users, translate them into technical specs, and present insights. - Mentorship: Guide junior team members and conduct code/report reviews to ensure quality. Qualifications Required: - Strong Proficiency in Power BI Desktop/Service, SQL, DAX, and Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema). - Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, or R is often preferred. - Bachelors degree in Technology, Engineering, or related field. - Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300/DA-100) is highly desirable.
