PLM Consultant Engineer - Aras Innovator

We are looking for a PLM Consultant Engineer Aras Innovator to join a leading IT Services company. The incumbent should possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), specifically with Aras Innovator platform. Note: Candidates having prior experience in enterprise PLM implementation, customer-facing consulting roles, and integration with ERP, CAD, or other enterprise systems will be given preference. Experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Power, Industrial Manufacturing, Engineering Services, or related industries will be considered an added advantage. Job Title: PLM Consulting Engineer - Aras Innovator Location: Bengaluru Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years Employment Type: Permanent Gender: Male / Female Client: Leading IT Services & Consulting (Energy Sector) CTC: 1 to 20 LPA (Based on relevant experience in PLM - Aras Innovator) Mandatory Requirements: Candidate must speak Kannada fluently. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently based in Bangalore/Karnataka or who have prior work experience in Bangalore, Karnataka. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Customize and configure Aras Innovator modules including Program Management, Product Engineering, Quality Management, and Variant Management. Develop and configure business objects such as Item Types, Relationships, Workflows, Lifecycles, Forms, and Security Controls. Develop custom business logic using Aras JavaScript, AML queries, .NET APIs, and server/client methods. Integrate Aras Innovator with ERP, PDM, CAD, and external enterprise systems using REST APIs and federation techniques. Design and develop enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, .NET Framework, and .NET Core / .NET 6+. Create technical documentation, troubleshoot application issues, and support end-user training. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and project delivery teams across the SDLC. Support technical mentoring and skill development of junior team members. Participate in customer meetings, solution discussions, and project delivery activities. Skills Required: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Aras Innovator customization, configuration, integration, and administration. Strong understanding of PLM processes including Engineering Change Management, BOM, Document Control, Variant Management, and Project Management. Experience with AML, Query Definitions, Tree Grids, and Content Modeling Framework (CMF). Strong knowledge of Aras IOM and APIs. Experience in CAD and ERP connector configuration. Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, REST APIs, SQL Server, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical, communication, and customer interaction skills. Willingness to travel for client meetings and project engagements as required.
