Experience: 3 5 Years Location: Hyderabad Work Mode: Hybrid / Work from Office Domain: Banking / Digital Banking / Payments About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer with strong experience in Mobile Testing, API Testing, and Test Automation within the Banking or Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in validating mobile banking applications, APIs, payment systems, and backend integrations while contributing to automation initiatives. The candidate should have exposure to both Manual and Automation Testing and be capable of validating end-to-end banking transactions across Mobile Apps, APIs, and Database layers. Key Responsibilities Mobile Testing - Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Android and iOS banking applications. - Validate customer journeys such as: - Login Authentication - Account Summary - Fund Transfers - UPI Transactions - Bill Payments - Beneficiary Management - Credit/Debit Card Services - Loan Applications - Mobile Banking Features - Execute testing on real devices and emulators/simulators. - Validate network interruptions, app backgrounding, session timeout, device compatibility, and security scenarios. - Analyze application logs and network traffic using tools such as Charles Proxy and ADB commands. API Testing - Validate REST APIs using Postman and automation frameworks. - Verify API requests, responses, status codes, headers, payloads, and business validations. - Perform API chaining and token-based authentication validations. - Validate synchronous and asynchronous APIs. - Test third-party integrations, payment gateways, and banking interfaces. - Verify API data against backend databases. Automation Testing - Develop and maintain automation scripts for: - Mobile Automation using Appium - API Automation using Rest Assured - Create reusable and scalable automation frameworks. - Execute automated regression suites and analyze failures. - Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines. Database Validation - Validate backend transactions using SQL queries. - Verify transaction status, account balances, payment records, and audit logs. - Perform reconciliation between UI, API, and database data. Defect Management - Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira. - Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams for resolution. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives.
