Junior Automation Test Engineer (Gurugram)

Experience Required - 2 4 years of relevant experience in Software Testing. Key Skills - Strong expertise in Functional Testing covering both UI and API testing. - Hands-on experience in API Automation using industry-standard automation frameworks. - Experience in testing Banking, Financial Services, or other enterprise applications of similar complexity. - Strong understanding of end-to-end business workflows and transaction validation. Roles Responsibilities - Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing of web and API-based applications. - Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios covering UI and backend validations. - Develop and maintain API automation scripts using appropriate automation frameworks. - Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes, authentication mechanisms, and business rules. - Perform backend data validation using SQL queries. - Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools such as Jira. - Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality releases. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
