IND (New) Analyst / Data Scientist

Role Overview: You will be working as an Analyst in Global Markets from India, providing high quality end-to-end analytical support across multiple projects and industry practices. Your role will involve transforming client questions and problems into analytical solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high quality analytics including data quality assessment, data manipulation, method selection, design & application, insights generation, and visualization - Learn and acquire key analytical, technical, and commercial skills as well as Quantium business knowledge to work as a proficient Analyst under minimal supervision - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to transform client questions and problems into analytical solutions - Assist clients in understanding and optimizing the use of Quantium products and solutions - Manage your career progression and industry knowledge - Work in a team to support end-to-end analytical projects - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to determine project objectives and scope - Explore, cleanse, and manipulate data - Conduct analysis, extract insights, and present them clearly through various mediums - Interact with stakeholders to provide project progress updates and gather feedback - Participate in learning forums and share knowledge with the team - Attend client meetings to understand needs and translate them into actionable insights Qualifications Required: - 2 years' experience in a highly technical analytics environment, performing data analytics - Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mathematics, actuarial studies, statistics, physics, or a related discipline - Knowledge of technical analytics discipline, data preparation, and foundational analytics concepts - Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders, delivering against projects in deadline-driven environments - Commercial acumen to understand business needs and suggest the commercial impacts of different analytics solutions or approaches - Coding and modeling experience in SQL, R, Python, and/or big data platforms - Experience working with large, complex datasets - Attention to detail and drive for continuous improvement Additional Company Details: Quantium is a fully diversified data science and AI leader operating across all sectors of the economy.
