Principal Mobile Engineer

Responsibilities: Lead the architecture and development of scalable mobile applications using React Native.Build high-quality hybrid mobile apps for Android and iOS platforms.Drive mobile engineering best practices, performance optimisation, and code quality.Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.Mentor and guide senior engineers and development teams.Define technical roadmaps, system design, and mobile architecture strategies.Improve app performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.Work on CI/CD pipelines, release management, and monitoring for mobile applications.Stay updated with the latest mobile technologies and industry trends. Requirements: 11+ years of software engineering experience with strong mobile development expertise.Strong hands-on experience in React Native and hybrid app development.Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript.Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and scalable systems.Experience with Android and iOS platform integrations.Knowledge of API integration, authentication, push notifications, analytics, and app security.Experience with performance optimisation and debugging mobile applications.Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing frameworks, and release processes.Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Good to Have: Experience in D2C, E-commerce, or consumer internet companies.Exposure to native Android/iOS development.Experience with Firebase, analytics, and mobile experimentation tools.Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
