Data Architect

Role Overview: You will be working as a Data Architect on a part-time, remote freelance/contract basis, focusing on data warehouse and data lake solutions with Flexcube 8+ experience. Your role will involve designing and optimizing data architectures, defining data models, implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, establishing data standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop scalable data solutions. You will also be responsible for data governance practices, performance tuning, troubleshooting data issues, and ensuring data quality, security, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Design and optimize data warehouse and data lake architectures - Define data models and implement ETL/ELT pipelines - Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions - Establish data governance practices and ensure data quality, security, and compliance - Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot data issues - Work with Flexcube 8+ experience, including integration patterns, data structures, and best practices for core banking data management - Utilize strong SQL skills and familiarity with modern cloud data platforms or on-premise data warehouse technologies - Manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently in a remote, part-time contract setting - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in Data Architecture with a focus on designing scalable data warehouse/data lake solutions, preferably in financial services or banking environments - Hands-on skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing, including dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and optimization for analytics and reporting - Proficiency in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools for building, orchestrating, and monitoring data integration pipelines - Experience in implementing Data Governance practices, including data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and access controls - Proven Flexcube 8+ experience and strong SQL skills - Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise data warehouse technologies - Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time contract setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines - Excellent communication skills to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience - Relevant certifications in data architecture, cloud platforms, or data governance are a plus Role Overview: You will be working as a Data Architect on a part-time, remote freelance/contract basis, focusing on data warehouse and data lake solutions with Flexcube 8+ experience.
