Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex backend systems using Python. - Manage a team of developers; mentor junior members and conduct code reviews. - Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA to deliver high-quality software. - Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and software engineering best practices. - Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions. - Work with DevOps and cloud engineers to ensure smooth CI/CD and deployment processes. - Monitor performance and scalability, and propose optimizations and enhancements. - Ensure high code quality and timely delivery within defined SLAs. Technical Skills Required: - Expert in Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. - Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). - Proficient in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiar with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). - Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms. - Version control using Git.
