Mechanical Engineer

Steel Melt Shop (SMS): Design, install, and maintain mechanical systems for the steel melting process. Ensure the efficient operation of furnaces, ladles, and other related equipment. Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Rolling Mill: Oversee the mechanical aspects of rolling mill operations. Optimize rolling mill processes for improved performance and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to maintain production flow. Continuous Casting Machine (CCM): Maintain and improve the mechanical systems of the Continuous Casting Machine. Ensure smooth and continuous casting operations with minimal interruptions. Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to enhance equipment reliability. Quality: Collaborate with the quality department to ensure mechanical systems meet quality standards. Implement quality control measures and improve mechanical processes. Analyze mechanical failures and develop corrective actions. Stores and Purchase: Coordinate with the stores and purchase department to ensure the availability of necessary mechanical parts and equipment. Evaluate and recommend suppliers based on quality and cost-effectiveness. Maintain inventory of mechanical components and manage procurement processes. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in mechanical engineering within the steel industry. (Not Mandatory) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in SMS, Rolling Mill, and CCM. Proficiency in mechanical design tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
