Job Description: Role: Snowflake Work Mode: Onsite Location: Chennai Year of Experience: 7 -10 Years No of Positions: 1 Notice Period: Immediate Budget: 8 - 12 LPA Good To Have Skills: Communication Must Have Skills: Snowflake DBA, Asset Management, Snowpro certification Job Description The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring & tuning Snowflake & Azure databases across Corporate Services team. This role will be part of the Corporate Architecture & Analytics team. Responsibilities: Influence information strategy by partnering with business & IT stakeholders rationalization of the information value chain & providing strategic recommendationsDevelop conceptual and physical data models as well as flow diagrams to illustrate current and future state architectureAnalyze project, program and portfolio needs, as well as determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers.Act as subject matter expert on all aspects of the data architecture, including data orchestration, large data processing, security & scalabilityEvangelise modern data approaches & technologies as well as Cloud architecture across the organizationGuide and mentor development teams on modern data engineering & design best practicesEstablish good data modelling principles and effective data quality standardsStrong communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to create marketing and messaging materials that meet stakeholder needs. Required Skills 10+ years of experience building distributed data and analytics platforms in cloud and hybrid environments.5+ years of experience with managing Snowflake databases as well as performance tuning & optimizations. SnowPro Certification is desired.Deep understanding of data warehouses, lake houses & streaming solutions in Azure & SnowflakeExpertise in Data modelling using dimension modelling & data vault methodologiesStrong hands-on expertise in database & query performance tuning SQL queries and database best practices 6. Experience with modern data engineering technologies such as python, Spark, Airflow Hands-on experience working with relational and NoSQL technologies (such as Oracle, Postgres, Mongo DB, etc.) 8. Experience with Devops and CI/CD technologies (such as Terraform, Github Actions, Docker) 9. Experience in financial industry or banking is a plus Note: Candidate only from Tamil Nadu .
