Business Analyst

As a member of the Amdocs team, your role is crucial in understanding the business needs of customers and implementing efficient solutions to meet those needs. Your responsibilities will include: - Reflecting customer needs by compiling business documents and technical requirements. - Providing advice to customers based on product capabilities and methodologies, ensuring reuse where possible. - Designing holistic and integrated high-level solutions that align with customers' business needs, production operability, and budget. - Participating in and/or leading formal and informal reviews with key partners, offering technical perspective and support. - Communicating new solution details and their impact on business processes to customers' business and IT personnel. - Ensuring customers understand the solutions provided and addressing any open questions or action items. - Supporting customers during the scoping phase within a specific domain up to customer sign-off. - Preparing solution-related documents and specifications, configuring the solution, and creating, executing, and maintaining detailed test plans. - Supporting the resolution of configuration/implementation-related issues as needed. Qualifications required for this role: - 3-6 years of experience working in a telecom operator or a large vendor in roles such as Performance Analysis, NOC, Network Support, or Operations Engineer. - Knowledgeable in areas such as SNMP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS, Syslog, VPNs. - Strong customer-facing and communication skills. - Ability to handle urgent customer issues in a multitasking mode. - Advantageous to have experience in delivery positions, Cisco educational degree (e.g., CCIP, CCNA), configuring MRTG, RRD Tools, or CACTI freeware tools, a degree in Computer Science, experience with Java scripts, VB, Shell, Perl, and expertise in additional telecom domains.
