About the role
As a Multimedia Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and editing videos for various platforms, ensuring they meet accessibility and user experience standards. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with teams to brainstorm, storyboard, and implement design solutions. Additionally, you will maintain and update content on digital and social platforms, creating explanatory and promotional videos for community and corporate initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and edit videos for various platforms, ensuring accessibility and user experience standards are met - Collaborate with teams to brainstorm, storyboard, and implement design solutions - Maintain and update content on digital and social platforms - Ensure all digital content meets accessibility standards and best practices - Perform necessary testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions are properly tested before deployment - Work with support resources to monitor and ensure proper functioning of related systems - Track and record reported issues for timely resolution - Identify and escalate issues and delays, facilitating prioritization of backlogged requests - Support the successful delivery of projects within given timelines Qualifications: - Advanced Diploma or higher in Graphic Design or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in graphic/multimedia design with a robust video and motion graphics portfolio - Proficiency in Adobe Video Editing Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects), Adobe Express, and Figma for UI/UX design - Experience with video platforms such as Vimeo and YouTube - Skills in digital art, illustration, video editing, and motion graphics - Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools (Sketch, Invision, Figma, XD) - Strong understanding of Design Thinking, Typography, Web Design, and User Experience Design - Proficiency with large language models and generative AI tools, including Copilot, ChatGPT, and Adobe Firefly As a Multimedia Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and editing videos for various platforms, ensuring they meet accessibility and user experience standards.
