Senior Performance Engineer

Job Description We are looking for a Senior Performance Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our engineering team building high-quality enterprise software for the retail industry. Responsibilities include: Ability to program with one OO programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++ Good knowledge on any one of the scripting languages such as Shell, Python Good understanding of one Database either RDBMS or NoSql Good Knowledge of Performance Engineering, Testing and Performance results analysis A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks. Certifications : Certified Tester Performance Testing (CT-PT) Primary Skills : Perform load tests to validate system performance and stability. Analyze test results and work with Developers and Engineers to perform bug fixes. Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability. Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions. Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements. Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements. Generate periodic performance reports for management review. Soft Skills : 4.5 to 8 years of Performance Engineering, preferably in a Software product company. And atleast 1 + years of experience as a Senior Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering / Computer Applications Strong interpersonal communications skills. Collaborate effectively with a distributed team. Has familiarity with the retail industry domain. Demonstrates attention to detail. Is self-motivated and takes ownership of tasks and executes.
