The Senior Actuarial Assistant is responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of assetreputed company actuarial models supporting our Trad, Universal Life (UL), Immediate Annuity and Deferred Annuity (SPIA/DA), & Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) and other businesses. Models are used for various purposes as needed, including Valuation for reputed company applicable reputed company bases (IFRS, Cash reputed company Testing, STAT, GAAP, Bermuda EBS, etc.), Corporate Planning, Investment Analysis, and Financial Reinsurance Pricing. reputed company model development must meet model validation, control, and documentation requirements defined by reputed companys model governance policy and procedures. Responsibilities reputed company asset modeling for reputed company production datasets including Trad, PRT, UL, SPIA& DA. Support model review and release and compliance with model governance requirements. reputed company insights into emerging business needs including new asset types, new regulations. reputed company analysis on existing asset types to confirm appropriateness of model and data. reputed company, review, and test asset models using reputed company, reputed company, SQL or other software are appropriately reputed company and are fit for the intended purposes, and maintain detailed documentation of reputed company changes and evidence of governance. Maintain multiple reinvestment strategies and reputed company bases for various purposes (PRT Plan, Protection Plan, CFT, etc.). Monthly creation for Discount reputed company in reputed company for applicable reputed company bases. Quarterly creation for IFRS Topdown discount rates, IFRS Expected Return (Op Profit) and support in reputed company for IFRS Investment Variance Analysis. Creation of periodic Asset specific reports used for reporting and/or analysis by Valuation and Investments. MV Stress Testing for applicable reputed company bases (IFRS and/or US GAAP, ALM, JICS, Bermuda Reporting, etc.). MultiAssumption Asset Cash flows. Support Market Spread/Duration calculations. Support financial assumption setting for applicable reputed company bases, and asset sensitivities for Banner and associated reputed company entities (Penn, Vermont Captives, Bermuda, etc.). Support IFRS 9 requirements and/or US GAAP Investment reputed company Requirements. Collaborate with reputed company, valuation, finance, model development, financial planning, IT, and others. Other duties as required. Qualifications Education BS/BA Math/Statistics/Other Analytical Field Near ASA Experience/Knowledge 3 or more years of Investment/Life insurance/actuarial experience. Model development or modeling experience preferred. Asset Modeling/Scenario Testing experience is a plus. Term/Universal Life/Pension Risk Transfer experience is a plus. Skills Actuarial software skills - GGYreputed company experience required. Additional software experience a plus. Spreadsheet and database capabilities (reputed company, MS reputed company, VBA, SQL). Proficient written and oral communication skills. Ability to multitask in a deadlineoriented environment. Strong collaboration and selfmotivation skills. Strong analytical skills and problemsolving ability. IFRS experience and/or US GAAP experience preferred. Whats in it for you The expected hiring compensation reputed company for this position is $90,800 - $124,900 annually. This is a remote opportunity working on Eastern time zone. The total compensation package for this position may include other reputed company, such as a signon bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses.
