IT Operations Manager(ServiceNow/ BMC Remedy)

As an experienced Operations Manager with 5-10 years of experience, your role will involve implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity, particularly in onPrem operations. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations to meet production targets and supporting backend development for client applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Setting up infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems and developing dashboards - Managing Microsoft IIS and batch jobs operations - Utilizing Python experience for scripting and automation - Coaching and supporting team professional growth - Supporting script troubleshooting and optimization - Managing updates from old to new infrastructure - Proposing efficiency improvements - Participating in application cloud migration To excel in this role, you must have: - Strong leadership and organizational skills - Experience in Operations Management, including incident management, problem resolution, change management, and service request fulfillment - Knowledge of ITIL best practices and frameworks for standardizing operational processes - Experience optimizing through automation of manual processes and enhancing operational agility and scalability - Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or BMC ITSM Remedy, Payara on Linux, scripting and automation for On-Premise infrastructure, infrastructure monitoring, alerting systems, dashboards setup, Microsoft IIS, and batch jobs - Experience with Oracle databases Additionally, having the following technical skills would be beneficial: - Reporting/Visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI - Basic experience with Python - Familiarity with cloud-based operations and DevOps practices - Experience with Java and GlassFish platform Your technical expertise in these areas will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of the company's IT services.
