Server Administrator

Rentokil PCI is the leading pest control service provider in India, formed in 2017 through a joint venture between Pest Control India and Rentokil. With operations across 300 locations, Rentokil PCI aims to set new standards for customer service. As a Server Administrator at Rentokil PCI, you will perform the role of Engineer for AWS and GCP. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day management of infrastructure-related activities and ensuring competence in managing security issues. You will report to the Functional Manager and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the overall IT Infrastructure, including information security policies and services - Plan and establish a security Operations center to monitor the security posture of group companies effectively - Keep all servers and devices updated with the latest OS and security patches - Develop infrastructure, database, and networking architecture for highly available, Internet-scale applications - Define migration strategies such as rehost, re-platform, and re-architect - Develop an overall strategy for Build & Release management - Design highly scalable, secure, efficient, and resilient systems - Analyze requirements, estimate, and project needs for infrastructure, security, and DevOps initiatives - Develop PoCs and deploy new cloud-based services for product environments - Demonstrate attention to detail and passion for DevOps, Information, and Data Security Qualification Required: - B.E or Masters Degree in IT - AWS Certification will be an added advantage - Minimum 1 year of experience in GCP Infrastructure Management Core Competencies: - Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in GCP - Hands-on experience with GCP services like CloudRun, CloudSQL, Storage, IAM, VPC, API - Strong Knowledge of Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes - Knowledge of DevOps with experience on Carbon Black and Service Now - Proficiency in scripting Unix/Linux bash scripting - Experience with windows or unix administration - Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines and tooling (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Github, Jira, or related) - Ability to propose new solutions for CI/CD implementation Rentokil PCI is the leading pest control service provider in India, formed in 2017 through a joint venture between Pest Control India and Rentokil.
