Brief Description Job Title: Global IT & Compliance Specialist Work Mode: Hybrid Function: Global IT Reporting to: Head of IT – Global Operations Role Type: Individual Contributor (IC) About The Role Resillion is seeking an experienced Global IT & Compliance Specialist to join its Global IT organisation. This is a senior individual contributor role designed for a technically strong professional who operates above day-to-day delivery, providing architectural oversight, policy accuracy, and compliance-aligned implementation across Global IT. The role is split approximately 60–70% core IT architecture and technical role and 30–40% internal compliance enablement with guidance from IT Head. The Associate Architect acts as a bridge between IT Infrastructure, Service Operations, and the Compliance function, ensuring that policies, controls, and technical implementations are accurate, practical, and audit-ready. This role does not replace core IT team members, but strengthens Global IT maturity by ensuring consistency, governance, and compliance-by-design across all IT domains. What This Role Contributes This role directly supports the IT Head's vision and mission by contributing in strengthening, modernising, and continuously improving IT operations (Systems, Services, Security & Compliance) across the organisation. Key Value Add Includes Architectural and governance oversight across all IT domains, ensuring consistency and long-term alignment Acting as a senior technical escalation point, providing sustainable corrective design and improvement inputs Translating real-world IT operations into clear, practical, and accurate Global IT policies Embedding compliance and regulatory requirements into day-to-day IT systems and processes Driving continuous audit and certification readiness across IT operations through proactive design and controls Key Responsibilities Core IT Architecture & Technical Leadership (60–70%) Contribute in providing architectural guidance and technical oversight across: IT Support and Service Operations (L2/L3 escalation, RCA, design fixes) Linux server environments Networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls) Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID) Act as a senior escalation point for complex operational and infrastructure issues. Review and influence infrastructure designs to ensure scalability, resilience, security, and standardisation. Support modernisation, optimisation, and reliability initiatives across Global IT. Ensure IT systems are implemented with strong security, auditability, and operational consistency. Compliance Enablement & Global IT Policy Ownership (30–40%) Act as the primary IT partner to the Compliance team for technical control alignment. Lead and support the revamp of Global IT policies, ensuring they are: Technically accurate Practically implementable Aligned with real-world IT operations Translate compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials / CE+) into effective IT controls. Support internal and external audits by maintaining high-quality technical evidence and documentation. Identify gaps between policy, tooling, and practice, and drive remediation with IT teams. Maintain continuous compliance and certification readiness across IT operations. Essential Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience across IT infrastructure and operations. Deep knowledge of: Linux server administration Networking fundamentals Microsoft 365 and identity platforms DevOps AI utilization for modern workplace Solid understanding of information security principles and IT controls. Experience supporting compliance audits or regulated IT environments. Strong documentation, policy interpretation, and stakeholder coordination skills. Comfortable working independently as a senior individual contributor. Desirable Experience with ISO 27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus, or similar standards. Background in assurance-driven, regulated, or secure environments. Experience working in global or distributed IT teams.
