About the role
Job Description: As a Software Technologist I specializing in Test Automation using C# Selenium, you will play a crucial role in automating test cases for system components to ensure seamless operation and compatibility across different modules. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating and maintaining automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools to streamline repetitive testing tasks and enhance efficiency in defect detection and software quality improvement. - Developing comprehensive test automation plans outlining scope, objectives, resources, and schedule to align with project requirements and facilitate effective testing processes. - Designing detailed test case automation based on software requirements, executing tests, and documenting results meticulously for thorough coverage and accuracy. - Collaborating with software developers and stakeholders to understand software design, functionality, and requirements for effective test automation planning and execution. - Analyzing test automation results and CI/CD outcomes to make necessary script changes or log defects based on failures. - Establishing, configuring, and managing automation environments to replicate production settings accurately for reliable testing outcomes mirroring real-world scenarios. - Conducting root cause analysis on identified defects and collaborating with development teams to implement corrective actions promptly, enhancing software quality and stability. - Evaluating and refining testing processes and methodologies to drive continuous improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness within the testing team. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent vocational education in Information Technology. - 6+ years of experience in test automation with expertise in test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices. - Strong proficiency in at least one software language, preferably C#, C++, or .Net. - Experience in building test automation frameworks, reporting, and scripts, particularly in the Imaging domain of Healthcare. - Ability to maintain large test automation frameworks. - Understanding of reporting frameworks and integration of automation results with lifecycle management tools. - Proven track record of delivery and commitment to automation. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work effectively with global teams.
