Senior Software Engineer (.Net & React)

As a Senior Software Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks to ensure the successful design, development, and maintenance of custom web and mobile applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing custom web and mobile applications using C# (or Java), .NET 7/6, .NET Core, and JavaScript. - Developing and maintaining complex cloud solutions on the AWS platform. - Participating in the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions. - Ensuring that cloud-based solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards. - Optimizing cloud solutions to ensure cost efficiency. - Collaborating closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet customer requirements. - Writing well-structured, maintainable code and performing unit testing. - Developing and maintaining backend services and APIs for applications. - Ensuring software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, and performance. - Implementing industry best practices and standards. - Monitoring and evaluating system performance, and addressing customer issues in a timely manner. - Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. - Partnering with researchers and technology experts to inform software requirements definition, design, implementation, test, and verification and validation efforts. In order to excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - 5+ years of experience developing web and mobile applications. - Expertise in C#.NET 7/6, .NET Core, React JS, and AWS services. - Strong knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Server development tools. - Ability to develop stored procedures, triggers, functions, and other database objects. - Strong understanding of software development best practices and processes. - Experience in diagnosing, identifying, and resolving critical issues/bugs using tools like Newrelic, Splunk, Datadog, etc. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. - Commitment to continual learning and professional development. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. - CS degree preferred, or equivalent training or work experience. - Experience working with ReactJS, cloud-based platforms such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, modern CI/CD tools like Docker, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, and enterprise SaaS products. - Experience with high-traffic distributed systems at scale.
