As a Workday Reporting Analyst, your role involves analyzing, designing, and building new custom reports, dashboards, and surveys using standard Workday reporting functionality such as Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and BIRT. You will identify areas for automation and globalization, providing high-quality analytics to leadership teams. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop, test, and deploy in production. Additionally, you will manage Workday upgrades, support the security framework, and streamline security roles. Your responsibilities also include maintaining SOPs, updating the reporting catalog, supporting audit and compliance efforts, troubleshooting system issues, and optimizing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, design, and build new custom reports, dashboards, and surveys using standard Workday reporting functionality. - Identify opportunities for automation and globalization, providing high-quality analytics to leadership teams. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications, design, develop, test, and deploy solutions. - Manage Workday upgrades and changes, maintain the security framework, and streamline security roles. - Support audit and compliance efforts, troubleshoot system issues, and optimize processes. - Develop reporting governance structure, naming conventions, and tagging. - Train users on Workday reporting functions and available reports. - Collaborate with integration and cross-functional teams to resolve data issues. - Develop test scenarios for new processes or features. - Advise stakeholders on best practices and work on acquisitions to integrate new companies. Qualifications Required: - Master's Degree in computer science, HR, IT, or Business. - 8+ years of overall experience. - 4+ years of hands-on experience in Workday reporting tools and modules. - 5+ years of professional experience in data, reporting, and analytics. - Ability to develop comprehensive reporting strategies aligned with business objectives. - Excellent analytical and technical skills with attention to detail. - Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and data accuracy.
