To serve as a field safety and health professional for by providing technical expertise on safety and health related matters. Provide guidance and support to line management on implementing safety standards, safety guideline. Coordinate and ensure safety related legal compliances, compliance to Annual Business Plan, forthright safety campaign compliance. • Implementation of Model section at departments in Health & Safety at TSM• Timely compliance to the recommendations of Statutory Authorities & all legal points, and record maintaining all statutory documents & timely renewal of Factory licence as per the Factories Act 1948 of Angul Energy Limited• On-site Emergency Plan updated and rehearsed through mock drills• Ensure timely testing & certification of the tools & tackles and pressure vessels as per the Factories Act-1948• Ensure safety of the plant and processes is the key responsibility• Ensure HIRA of Red SOP & all activities as per HSE risk matrix and develop Risk Heat map for workplace activities. and Fortnightly Theme Based Safety Campaign are conducted as per planner and Check-up inspection are conducted to find status of actual compliance of audit report of fortnightly Theme Based Safety Campaign• Conducting monthly AIC meeting• Conducting Contractor Safety Management Safety Committee (CSMC) meeting• Follow up for Safety Visit & Observation by Line Managers and its compliance• Safety visit, inspection, survey and internal safety audit are carried out with departmental representatives as per annual planner. FRCP Reporting in Ensafe. Follow up for compliance.All employees and contract workers are being given on the job and classroom, mass safety awareness training as per the annual planer. Competency development of all officers through providing training on SSLM.Monthly safety award system implemented for workers on the basis of best safety performance & implementation of 5S at in every month of 1st working day.E-learning training on applicable safety standard to employees Observation of National Safety Day/week, Road safety week and display of Safety slogan, poster etcSafety Competency assessment of existing high-risk vendors on Star Rating criteria for gap identification by competent assessors.Shutdown audit is conducted during shutdownPrepared ABP on Health & Safety & follow up for compliance Ensure periodical health check-up of employees & workers
