About the role
About the program We are building a nextgeneration autonomous Agricultural Rover designed to solve real world challenges for farmers, focusing on automated crop health monitoring, precision spraying, and soil analysis. While our engineering team handles the hardware and software mechanics, we need an intern with deep agricultural domain knowledge to ensure this rover is built for actual farm conditions. As an Agricultural Research Intern, you will bridge the gap between biological science and robotic hardware. You will define the physical constraints the rover faces, such as crop row spacing, canopy heights, and varying soil textures. You will also play a critical role in training our computer vision systems by identifying and labeling healthy crops versus specific plant diseases, nutrient deficiencies, or weed types. Additionally, you will collaborate with the robotics team to conceptualize smart attachments like targeted spraying nozzles or soil sensors, and help design testing parameters on actual farmland to evaluate the rovers performance in muddy and uneven terrain. We are looking for students pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Soil Science, or related fields. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational knowledge of crop varieties, pest management, and farming practices, combined with a tech savvy mindset and excitement for how robotics can revolutionize modern farming. Through this role, you will gain hands on exposure to cutting edge agritech development, work alongside a dedicated engineering team, and receive an AICTE approved internship certificate to boost your academic and professional profile. Perks AICTE Approved Internship Certificate Hands on Industrial Internet of Things and AgriTech experience Work directly with a Robotics startup team Letter of Recommendation based on performance Flexible remote work hours Opportunity to see your agricultural insights implemented on a physical rover Who can apply?
