As a Data Scientist at Rocket Software Inc., you will have the opportunity to join our applied machine learning team and play a crucial role in evolving our world-class solutions. Role Overview: You will be a highly motivated individual proficient in advanced machine learning models, particularly focusing on language models, document understanding and analysis, and code generation. Your responsibilities will include understanding and adapting current research, leveraging your deep understanding of computational linguistics, image processing, and Python programming. You will work collaboratively with a team to build, fine-tune, and deploy state-of-the-art models to address real-world problems in information management, data intelligence, content automation, audit, and analytics. Key Responsibilities: - Consult with key stakeholders to understand and frame model requirements and potential applications - Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using optimized tools and platforms - Recommend improvements to methods and algorithms, evaluate research applicability, and integrate models into end-user applications - Develop analytic plans based on data sources and business needs, manage deliverables across multiple projects, and present insights to stakeholders - Manage junior data scientists, demonstrate expertise in Python, Linux, and ML, and apply data science methodologies to extract, process, and transform data Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of industry experience - Proficiency in Python, Linux, ML, and SQL - Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems and deliver outputs highlighting major trends - Quick learner, adaptable, and efficient in managing multiple projects - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you have a Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields, it will be a plus.
