Role Overview: Rooter is a tech consumer platform that has evolved into a Live Streaming Platform hosting India's largest community of gamers and creators. They have recently introduced 'Rooter Shop,' a marketplace for digital gaming currencies. As a part of the team, you will be contributing to the development of high-performance Android & Cross-platform apps to enhance the user experience for gamers and creators. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable, reusable, and reliable KMP & CMP code - Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions - Ensure app adaptability across various Android devices and network conditions - Promote a strong testing culture by using unit tests to cover edge cases and ensure reliability - Take ownership of assigned features or products, driving end-to-end development and timely delivery - Contribute best-in-class coding practices and technical excellence in developing consumer-facing mobile applications Qualification Required: - 4+ years of experience in building Android & Cross-platform apps using KMP and CMP - Fluency in Compose and expertise in Android components like Activity, Fragments, Services, Intent, etc. - Experience with Kotlin/MVVM design pattern and Jetpack libraries - Good understanding of memory management, network interaction, concurrency, and multi-threading in Android - B.E./B.Tech.
