Role : SAP FIORI Technical Consultant Exp : 3-8 years Notice period : 0-15 days Mode of work : WFO Location : Bangalore Mandatory skills : Fiori, Sapui5, Odata, Cds Views, Amdp SAP FIORI Technical Consultant Overview The SAP FIORI Technical Consultant plays a crucial role in the design, development, and management of SAP FIORI applications within the organization. As a key stakeholder in the digital transformation process, the consultant focuses on enhancing user experience through innovative and intuitive web applications. They act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that all FIORI applications meet organizational standards and effectively serve user needs. This role involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, assessing requirements, and providing solutions that align with business objectives. With the rise of mobile computing and user-centric designs, the importance of SAP FIORI in enterprises has never been greater. Thus, the SAP FIORI Technical Consultant is responsible for not just technical implementation but also for driving the best practices of user experience design. Key Responsibilities Design and develop SAP FIORI applications using SAPUI5 and HTML5/CSS3 technologies. Implement OData services to ensure seamless data integration between UI and backend. Customize existing FIORI applications to meet specific client requirements. Engage in troubleshooting and debugging of FIORI applications to ensure high system availability and performance. Participate in the requirement gathering phase to capture functional specifications from stakeholders. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the applications meet design standards. Work closely with project managers to deliver projects within agreed timelines. Conduct system tests and performance tuning of FIORI applications. Document development processes and maintain project documentation. Provide technical support during the rollout of FIORI applications. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP FIORI and recommend innovations. Assure compliance with SAP security standards in all application developments. Support integration efforts with SAP S/4HANA, BW, and other ERP modules. Train and mentor junior developers in FIORI best practices. Prepare and deliver status reports and presentations to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SAP FIORI development. Proficient in SAPUI5, JavaScript, and OData services. Strong background in SAP ABAP programming for backend integration. Experience with developing responsive layouts and adaptive designs. Good understanding of FIORI UX principles and design guidelines. Knowledge of Debugging tools like Chrome Developer Tools. Familiarity with SAP Gateway and its services. Experience in Agile methodologies and project management. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Enthusiastic and proactive attitude toward learning new technologies. Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments is a plus. Relevant SAP certifications (e.g. SAP FIORI certification) are an advantage.
