As an Application Support Engineer at OSTTRA India, your role will involve providing technical support across the suite of OSTTRA products. You will work closely with the Client Services team and project teams to resolve client issues and improve platforms, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction. Your work will contribute to building, supporting, protecting, and managing high-performance platforms processing over 100 million messages daily, essential for automated trade processing globally. Responsibilities: - Provide technical L2 and L3 support for internal and external customers across OTC Derivative products and FX for post-trade confirmation processing. - Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a natural ability to learn, with a keen interest in technology. - Apply strong technical skills, business knowledge, investigative techniques, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively. - Collaborate with team members, Product, Development, and infrastructure teams for 3rd line escalation. - Work with clients to understand and resolve issues, ensuring readiness for new platform releases. - Handle escalations, identify technical resolutions, and communicate effectively in English. - Contribute to platform industrialization, proactive application health monitoring, and reporting. Qualifications Required: - University graduate or equivalent with a background in computer science. - Ability to read and trace Java, C++, and/or scripting languages. - Understanding of PAAS implementation with OpenShift. - Experience or high motivation to pick up cloud implementation on AWS. - Good Unix skills, including scripting experience. - Experience with XML, XSLT, databases, SQL scripting (preferably Oracle), messaging platforms like FIX and IBM MQ, networking principles, and troubleshooting. - Experience with encrypted connectivity channels utilizing SSL and TLS. - Knowledge of Financial OTC Derivative and FX products, financial protocols like FIX, FPmL, TOF, application support processes, and derivatives products.
