About the Client: A global IT MNC company Role : Cloud & Devops Engineer Experience : 3 to 5 years Location : Bangalore, Chennai (Hybrid) Encourage applications from all qualified candidates, especially women who are returning to the workforce after a career break (up to 4 years) Roles & Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve enterprise web application issues, including configuration in Unix/Linux environments with technologies like J2EE, WebSphere, Tomcat, and SQL. - Provide hands-on support for cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and utilize services such as EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, Route53, etc. - Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform for automation and infrastructure-as-code. - Write and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy solutions. - Create and execute automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting for operational efficiency. - Implement and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration. - Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem management, ensuring smooth operation of services. - Diagnose and resolve application performance issues and system bottlenecks in a proactive manner. - Operate in an Agile and DevOps workplace, participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality, and following branching practices in GitHub . - Balance project work with unplanned tasks, regularly reassessing priorities based on operational needs. - Escalate and prioritize issues as needed to ensure timely resolution. Preferred Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E) or MCA . - 2-4 years of experience in cloud and DevOps roles, supporting enterprise applications. - Proven hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and their services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, etc.). - Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation. - Proficiency in Python and Shell sc .
