Role Overview: As a Safety Manager, your main responsibility will be to ensure a safe and healthy work environment within the factory. This will involve implementing safety policies, conducting safety audits, preventing accidents, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with all factory safety regulations and company safety standards. - Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential workplace hazards. - Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions. - Develop and conduct safety training, induction programs, and awareness sessions for employees. - Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety procedures. - Manage fire safety systems, emergency response plans, and evacuation drills. - Ensure safe work practices through Permit-to-Work (PTW) and contractor safety programs. - Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory documentation. - Work closely with production, maintenance, and HR teams to improve workplace safety. - Drive initiatives to reduce accidents and improve overall safety performance. Qualifications Required: - Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field. - Safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Diploma in Industrial Safety is preferred. Additional Details: Experience: - 1518 years of experience in factory or manufacturing safety management. - Experience in handling process plant safety and risk analysis on safety.
