About the role
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute and manage engineering activities for GIS / AIS Substation projects up to 765 kV, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Oversee complete engineering execution within defined schedule, quality, and cost targets to achieve successful project delivery. Align engineering deliverables with overall project schedules, conduct periodic review meetings, and ensure timely closure of action items. Review and approve design calculations, engineering drawings, technical documents, client approvals, and submissions to maintain quality and adherence to timelines. Lead and coordinate activities related to Primary Design, Secondary Design, Earthing, Cabling, SCADA, and Protection Systems for substation projects. Drive vendor evaluation, technical clarifications, manufacturing clearance, and material delivery coordination to ensure seamless project execution and timely procurement support. Guide and mentor Design Engineers and Drafting Teams, ensuring effective resource allocation, enhanced productivity, and LNT/LEP/1714919 continuous capability development. Support BOQ review, tender engineering activities, billing processes, and monthly invoicing requirements in coordination with project and commercial teams. Utilize engineering and planning tools such as MS Office, ETAP, PSCAD, CYMGRD, and Project Planning Tools for design validation, analysis, reporting, and project monitoring. .
