Role Overview: As a Database Administration I at Sabre, you will be accountable for providing support for operational database services to the organization. Your responsibilities will include owning, tracking, and resolving database-related events, issues, and incidents. You will need to support 24x7 operations in rotating shifts and ensure incidents are resolved within SLAs. Additionally, you will review service-related reports daily to identify and resolve issues promptly. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support for operational database services - Own, track, and resolve database-related events, issues, and incidents - Support 24x7 operations in rotating shifts and resolve incidents within SLAs - Review service-related reports daily to ensure timely issue resolution - Investigate database-related alerts and escalations and work on strategic solutions - Troubleshoot database integrity issues, performance issues, and connectivity issues - Document processes and procedures for knowledge transfer and run-books - Work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency - Be on call for production support on a rotation basis - Desired experience in MYSQL, MS SQL, and Cloud platforms Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration and support in Oracle versions 12c through 19c - Knowledge of setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting Oracle Golden Gate - Experience in resolving various database issues and constraints - Ability to detect and troubleshoot potential database-related issues - Knowledge of Oracle Performance Tuning - Bachelor's degree or equivalent education qualification Additional Company Details: Sabre is leading the agentic revolution in travel with its AI-native technology and vast travel data cloud.
