Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and security. Roles & Responsibilities Support implementation and maintenance of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall infrastructure Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices Monitor network performance, uptime, and system health Troubleshoot network issues related to routing, switching, connectivity, and security Perform regular upgrades, patches, and system maintenance Implement and manage security configurations (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) Follow change and configuration management processes Monitor bandwidth and capacity utilization Maintain network documentation and diagrams Liaise with vendors, ISPs, and internal teams for issue resolution Assist in network upgrades, migrations, and projects Ensure compliance with IT and security policies Candidate Profile Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT or related field 37 years of relevant experience in network administration Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, STP, QoS Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet) Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, PRTG, SolarWinds Knowledge of VPN and network security practices Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Good communication and documentation ability Certification preferred: CCNA or equivalent Preferred Skills Exposure to Cisco Umbrella or proxy/web security solutions Experience with monitoring and alerting tools Basic cybersecurity and incident response knowledge We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT team.
