About the role
As a Business Analyst at Sapiens in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in the Life & Pension division. You will work closely with customers to identify, analyze, validate, and document business processes and functional requirements. Your responsibilities will include overseeing proper implementation by providing functional specifications and acceptance criteria. Acting as a liaison between customer business users and project development and testing teams will be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and document customers' functional and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance scenarios - Specialize in Sapiens ALIS application and understand the limitations and possibilities of the system - Initiate and oversee project solution design - Provide presentations and demonstrations on product features - Support development teams in design processes and testing teams by preparing test scenarios - Write new requirements/User Stories documents for new functionalities - Assist Sapiens RI 2nd and 3rd line support representatives in analyzing and reproducing incidents reported by customers - Participate in training activities for employees and customers - Support the TW with updating product documentation Qualifications Required: - Education: BE and MBA are a must - Minimum 4 years of experience - Excellent analytical skills - Experience with information systems (such as ERP) at a super user level - Experience with Financial services/Systems - Excellent command of the insurance business, experience in actuarial or insurance fields is a must, Reinsurance is an advantage - Ability to match customer functional requirements with application system options efficiently - Insurance business knowledge is an advantage - Excellent communication skills in English at a native speaker level - Willingness to travel extensively - Experience with overseas customers - Experience with core organizational product implementations - Having experience in the insurance background and worked on insurance products are added advantages About Sapiens: Sapiens is a global leader in the insurance industry, providing its award-winning, cloud-based SaaS insurance platform to over 600 customers in more than 30 countries.
