Migration Analyst

Job Description: Define migration approach Conduct functional and Technical analysis Perform migration mapping, transformation design and implementation using ETL tools Prepare test scenarios Offer functional support to the development and testing teams Elicit customer requirements and translate them into functional, data mapping/ transformation requirements and interface specifications Match between functional requirements and application system options/ functionality in an efficient manner Aligning functional specifications with the development team Serve as the functional and technical support point for the different testing phases (ST, mock ups, dress rehearsal etc.) Desired Skills and Experience Required: A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science Business Analyst skills - ability to translate functional requirements to test scenarios Experience in Data Migration or Data Integration (merging from multiple sources) Strong analytical skills Expert level knowledge and experience with information systems (such as ERP) Understanding the data models and structures of complex technology systems Experience working with SQL Experience analyzing and implementing interfaces between systems is an advantage Familiarity with AI-assisted data tools (e.g., using LLMs or Copilot-style tools to accelerate mapping, anomaly detection, or documentation) Basic understanding of data quality concepts relevant to AI/ML pipelines (especially if the company is heading toward predictive analytics) Preferable Excellent communication and presentation skills Knowledge and experience working within the insurance industry ETL knowledge and experience is an advantage Strong MS Office skills Programming experience is an advantage Experience using AI tools for data profiling or transformation validation (tools like Dataiku, Alteryx AI, or even ChatGPT/Claude for accelerating analysis tasks) Prompt engineering basics — being able to leverage AI assistants to draft specs, analyze data patterns, or generate test scenarios faster Exposure to Python or scripting beyond SQL
