IT Managed Service Consultant

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, IT challenges, and requirements for managed IT services. Assess clients existing IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Develop comprehensive managed IT service strategies that align with clients business goals and technology roadmaps. Design and propose tailored solutions that include managed IT services, cloud adoption, security measures, and disaster recovery plans. Provide expert advice on best practices for IT governance, service level agreements, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates. Lead the implementation and deployment of managed IT services, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations. Monitor and evaluate the performance of managed services, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal results. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering ongoing recommendations for improving their IT environment and addressing emerging challenges. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to managed IT services. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven track record of 5-8 years in IT consulting, particularly in the area of managed services. Expertise in assessing, designing, and implementing managed IT service solutions for clients. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, security measures, and backup solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically. Strong project management skills and the ability to lead projects from conception to successful implementation. Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor. Certification in relevant IT and consulting domains is desirable. Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site engagements, as required.
