About the role
As a Senior Developer at Saxo Group India Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative solutions on the Microsoft .NET platform and microservices architecture. Your role involves utilizing C#/.NET to build robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Additionally, you will develop and optimize databases and TSQL stored procedures on Microsoft SQL Server. Collaboration across teams to refine requirements, produce technical designs, and deliver high-quality code is a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also ensure reliability, performance, and security through testing, observability, and best practices. Supporting production deployments and troubleshooting complex issues will be part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize C#/.NET to build robust, scalable, and secure solutions - Develop and optimize databases and TSQL stored procedures on Microsoft SQL Server - Collaborate across teams to refine requirements, produce technical designs, and deliver high-quality code - Ensure reliability, performance, and security through testing, observability, and best practices - Support production deployments and troubleshoot complex issues Qualifications Required: - 1012 years of demonstrated software engineering experience with strong problem-solving skills - Proficiency in C#/.NET and TSQL programming - Solid experience with .NET Core and Web API for building secure, scalable APIs and services - Hands-on production experience with Apache Kafka for designing efficient, scalable event-driven systems - Understanding of legacy WCF services (service contracts, bindings/endpoints, hosting, security) and experience maintaining or modernizing them - Practical experience designing and implementing microservices and distributed systems - Microsoft Azure cloud services (e.g., App Services, AKS, Event Hubs, Key Vault) - Redis (caching and performance optimization) - CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), automated testing, and code reviews - Observability (structured logging, metrics, tracing) and performance profiling In Saxo, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
