Solution Architect-Datacentre

As a PreFab Solution Architect in the PREFABRICATED DATA CENTER Line of Business at Schneider, you will be involved in projects of medium to high technical and commercial complexity. Your primary role will be to provide expertise on Schneider's system and architecture platform during the early selling stages, supporting Opportunity Pursuit Leaders in understanding customer business requirements and constraints. By utilizing tested validated architecture designs, you will aim to meet customer needs and offer a differentiating value proposition. Your segment focus will mainly be on Data Center Systems and Prefabricated Modular Data Centers. Main Responsibilities: - Capitalize on in-depth knowledge of customer processes, applications, and decision criteria to bring a differentiating value proposition to the customer within Europe and South America regions. - Understand and propose the best solutions to customers based on their segment-specific challenges, needs, and constraints. - Support the Sales force and customers as a trusted advisor and technical consultant to implement Schneider Electric cross-domain segment solutions. - Define, use, customize, and create Tested, Validated & Documented Architectures (TVDA) to meet customer requirements and offer a differentiating value proposition. - Help establish solution strategy and best practices. - Review customer RFQs, create Compliance, Deviations and Exceptions lists, and influence customer RFQs by translating them into possible technological solutions. - Provide complex technical designs and proposals for commercial proposals. - Collaborate internally with Business Units involved in the tendering stage. - Work with clients and development teams to recommend solutions, provide support in meetings and presentations, and present recommended solutions for validation and improvements. - Stay updated on technological developments and applications to initiate enhanced solutions. - Identify and promote actions for developing technological solutions for customers. - Communicate and coordinate communications among key stakeholders including customers, Schneider entities, and factories. Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering. - 8+ years of experience in the Data Center Industry, including Secure Power Systems, Cooling systems, and Electrical and Mechanical installations. - Certification in Uptime and/or Data Center Dynamics, or demonstrated similar knowledge and experience. - Previous experience in customer-facing roles preferred. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and results-driven. - Strong organizational and customer service skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Results-oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Strong influence and persuasion skills. - Capacity for autonomy, initiative, and proactivity. - Decision-making skills and ability to escalate appropriately when necessary. - Ability to foster cooperation and motivate people in a multi-cultural environment with different time zones. - Knowledge of Schneider Electric offers and applications such as Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Low voltage electrical panels, MV equipment, Cooling units, etc. - Proficiency in computer tools at the user level, including Uninet, SE Design Portal, ISX, and familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools like REVIT.
