About the role
As an Economy System Designer at Scopely's Bingo Bash game team, you will play a crucial role in evolving the game's economy to ensure long-term success. Your responsibilities will include: - Evolving the game's economy to establish a balanced and enduring framework for sustained success. - Designing and implementing sophisticated economic models to forecast player behavior and inform strategic decisions. - Utilizing data analytics to gain insights into player behaviors, enabling adjustments to enhance retention, social interactions, and monetization. - Forecasting the impact of economic changes through A/B testing and other analytical methods to optimize outcomes. - Effectively communicating economic concepts and strategies to partners at all levels, including senior management. - Collaborating efficiently with team members to foster a culture of creativity, analytical thinking, and alignment with game development goals. What Were Looking For: - Demonstrated experience as an Economy Designer, System Designer, or Product Manager responsible for free-to-play game economies, with a strong understanding of player motivations and market dynamics. - Proficiency in spreadsheets, data visualization, and crafting engaging presentations to simplify complex concepts. - Equivalent experience in Economics, System Design, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related analytical field will be considered. - Demonstrated cross-collaboration skills, working effectively with Product, Design, UX, and LiveOps teams. - Proficient skills in SQL, R, Python, and/or other analytics and modeling platforms.
