As a Principal Data Analyst at Scopely, embedded within the Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem team in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in shaping the analytical vision across various aspects such as product, LiveOps, economy, monetization, and player lifecycle. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing large and complex datasets to derive strategic insights, defining and evolving the KPI framework, translating data into actionable insights, designing and evaluating A/B tests, and building scalable dashboards and reporting. Your role will require close collaboration with Product, Game Design, Economy, and Leadership to influence decision-making and drive impactful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze large, complex datasets to inform strategic decisions across retention, monetization, LiveOps, and economy design - Define and evolve the KPI framework for Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem to ensure clear visibility into game performance and player health - Translate data into actionable insights that influence roadmap priorities, feature design, and event strategy - Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to optimize player experience and revenue outcomes - Partner closely with various teams to align priorities and ensure analytics is central to decision-making - Build and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting for stakeholders - Identify high-impact opportunities and risks across the player lifecycle and develop structured analytical roadmaps In your role as the analytics owner for Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem, you will set the analytical vision, connect data insights to long-term game strategy, and establish best practices in experimentation and measurement. Additionally, you will mentor and develop other analysts on the team to support their growth in technical and business impact areas. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on free-to-play mobile gaming - Proven ability to drive measurable impact on retention, monetization, LiveOps performance, or game economy optimization - Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale player-level datasets - Strong understanding of experimentation frameworks, statistical analysis, and performance measurement - Experience in collaborating cross-functionally and influencing product decisions through data storytelling - Proficiency in data visualization tools, cloud-based data warehouses, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets - Experience with Python or R for data analysis - Strong critical thinking, structured problem-solving, and communication skills - Passion for mobile games and a deep curiosity about player behavior At Scopely, diversity and respect are core values.
