About the role
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software Developer to join our Research & Development team As a Software Developer in the R&D department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that drive our companys cutting-edge research and innovation initiatives You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, improve existing systems, and contribute to the advancement of technology within our organization Responsibilities:Research and Analysis:Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and programming languages Conduct research and analysis to identify new software solutions and technologies Collaborate with researchers and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives Design and Development:Design, develop, and test software applications and systems based on project requirements Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new ideas and concepts Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and product managers, to develop high-quality software solutions Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to solve complex problems Collaborate with team members to review and improve code quality Testing and Debugging:Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are free of bugs Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner Write automated tests to validate the correctness and reliability of software components Documentation:Create and maintain detailed technical documentation related to software design, implementation, and testing Document software architecture, APIs, and data models for future reference Continuous Improvement:Continuously evaluate and improve existing software applications and systems Explore and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies to optimize the development process Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in software development, preferably in research and development projects Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar languages Solid understanding of software engineering concepts, algorithms, and data structures Experience with version control systems (e g , Git) and collaborative development workflows Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus
