About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting and monitoring the existing infrastructure, supervising maintenance and backup activities, and performing other regular support tasks to ensure effectiveness. Additionally, you will handle renewals of DC equipment and manage the IT Help Desk team for day-to-day activities, including providing training for current implementations. It will be your duty to maintain a complete track of AMC of the equipment and all call tracks, manage vendor relationships for recent procurements and AMC contracts, SSL and licenses renewals, and provide network uptime/downtime reports for the data center. You will oversee network equipment renewals, conduct health check-ups of servers, storage, switches, firewalls, and routers, and ensure backups of storage, servers, and other network equipment. Utilizing a ticketing tool, you will manage all call histories, minimize work and changes to prevent disruptions to existing business services, and track infrastructure assets to ensure security.
