Maintenance Head

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations of the manufacturing plant. Ensure smooth functioning of Injection Molding, Extrusion, and other manufacturing machines . Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies. Manage installation, commissioning, and upgradation of new machinery and equipment. Lead and mentor a team of approximately 12 maintenance personnel . Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with DISH (Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health) and other statutory authorities. Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor development. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine uptime, OEE, productivity, and cost optimization. Plan and execute plant engineering projects, utility management, and infrastructure improvements. Ensure availability and maintenance of plant utilities including compressors, chillers, DG sets, electrical systems, and HVAC. Prepare maintenance reports, KPIs, root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and maintenance documentation. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Projects teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering. 1218+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong hands-on experience with Injection Molding and Extrusion Machines is mandatory. Experience in leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing plant. Good knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance. Familiarity with statutory compliance, safety audits, and liaison with government authorities. Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, utilities, and automation systems is preferred. Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Profile Candidates from Plastic Processing, Polymer, Automotive, Packaging, or Manufacturing industries . Multi-skilled professionals with knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Utilities, and Project Management will be preferred. Experience in handling plant expansion, equipment installation, and continuous improvement initiatives will be an added advantage.
